What is Chawk Hawk?
Chawk Hawk is a web engine designed to help an investor make critical buy and sell decisions to mimimize risk and maximize profits. The web engine removes the guess work, the emotion, the mathematics out of the decision making process, the misunderstanding of the market, and turns any investor into a Hawk. Under the hood the Chawk Hawk web engine cuts through the noise, analyzes patterns and historical data, runs various statistical analysis, applies a set of proprietary rules and conditions, searches for critical buy and sell points, and notifies the investor in real-time.
When Chawk Hawk calculates a critical point:
  • user is notified in the dashboard
  • user is notified by automated emails sent within seconds
  • easy to read color coded buy and sell signals
  • GREEN = BUY
  • GOLD = WAIT / HOLD
  • RED = SELL
What the Chawk Hawk web engine is looking for:
  • inflextion points to signal an entry (buy)
  • beginning of up trends to enter and stay in the market
  • inflextion points to signal an exit (sell)
  • beginning of down trends to exit and stay out the market
How Chawk Hawk helps the user:
  • understand conditions
  • minimize risk
  • maximize ROI
  • receive real-time email notifications

How Does Chawk Hawk Work?
Chawk Hawk was designed with the novice investor in mind. Simply add a stock symbol to the user dashboard and start utilizing the features, algorithms, and web engine. Below is a list of features
  • Add a stock
  • Publish the stock to get real-time buy/sell signals
  • Chart the stock
  • Analyze the stock
  • Backtest the algorithms to demonstrate performance
  • Share the stock
  • View past Chawk Hawk algorithm buy and sell signals
  • Compare the Chawk Hawk algorithm performance to a buy-hold strategy
  • Get real-time buy and sell signals by email
  • Share a stock with a friend
  • Help section with step-by-step instructions
Within the Chawk Hawk user dashboard each stock will be color coded to indicate if it needs to be published, buy, sell, or wait/hold. A gauge in the upper right corner will indicate the same analysis as the color coding.
What Kind of Investor are You?
Stock market terminology includes a long list of farm animals as analogies to the different types of investors. There are bulls, bears, chickens, pigs, and sheep. Chawk Hawk has added a new analogy to the list for those investors that are patient, analytical, and waiting for the right opportunity to buy and sell. We call them Hawks.
  • A bull market is when everything in the economy is great, people are finding jobs, gross domestic product (GDP) is growing, and stocks are rising. Bull markets make it easier for investors to pick profitable stocks.
  • A bear market is when the economy is bad, recession is looming and stock prices are falling. Bear markets make it tough for investors to pick profitable stocks.
  • Chickens are afraid to lose anything. Their fear overrides their need to make profits and so they turn only to money-market securities or get out of the markets entirely.
  • Pigs are high-risk investors looking for the one big score in a short period of time. Pigs buy on hot tips and invest in companies without doing their due diligence. Pigs can get slaughtered.
  • Sheep lack a focused trading strategy and trade on emotion and the suggestions of others. Sheep usually get slaughtered.
  • A Hawk is constantly analyzing the situation, has a clear strategy, and is looking for the right opportunity in any market. When that opportunity presents itself the Hawk quickly flies in and strikes with efficiency. Sign Up to become a Chawk Hawk.
What Chawk Hawk Is NOT!
Chawk Hawk is not intended to be used for day trading or high frequency trading, or for long term buy-hold strategies either. Who has the time or resources to day trade or implement a high frequency strategy? And in today's stock market environment the buy-hold strategy is out dated.
For example, if an investor would have bought Intel (INTC) on 01/02/15 for $36.36/share the rate of return on 03/09/17 ($35.77/share) would be -1.65%. However, using the Chawk Hawk web engine over the same period of time resulted in a +38.75% ROI. Because the major up and down trends take days, weeks, or months to take place, the Chawk Hawk engine uses daily, weekly, and monthly data to generate its buy and sell signals, and takes advantage of these trends. The time it takes to go from a BUY→ WAIT→ SELL or SELL→ WAIT→ BUY, may take days, weeks, or months. But being a patient Hawk and allowing the Chawk Hawk web engine to crunch the numbers will position the investor on the right side of the trade in any market condition, up, down, side ways, or highly volatile.
